The instrument of Time. As my daily driver for videography, the GH7 is built for speed and reliability. I use it for its incredible Phase Hybrid Autofocus and unlimited recording times, ensuring I never miss a moment. Whether I’m shooting run-and-gun or a controlled set, its ability to record 5.7K RAW internally gives me complete creative freedom in post-production.
Lumix S1RII
The observer of Matter. This is my dedicated tool for high-fidelity imaging. The S1RII’s massive resolution and superior image stabilization make it the ultimate choice for my landscape and architectural work. It delivers uncompromising image quality, allowing me to print large and retain the finest details of light and shadow in every frame.
By profession, I am a research level applied mathematician and full-time university faculty member. But outside of academia, I switch roles to observe the world through a different lens.
My photography is driven by the same appreciation for structure and beauty that I find in mathematics. I shoot exclusively with Lumix cameras, specifically the S1RII and GH7, which I choose for their superior ergonomics, incredible color science, and the sheer pleasure they bring to the shooting experience.
My workflow is strictly RAW. I process my files using DxO PureRaw for pristine quality, followed by Luminar Neo for color grading and final touches.
